It’s common knowledge that there are lots of great singers in Hellcats. Aly Michalka and her sister AJ sing together as 78 Violet, Ashely Tisdale has been singing for years and is famously known as Sharpay from the High School Musical movies, and throughout the Hellcats first season, we’ve also heard amazing singing voices from both Sharon Leal and Robbie Jones.
There is another voice we haven’t heard yet on the show that belongs to another Hellcat.
When Tyrell Witherspoon isn’t cheering with the Hellcats or dancing in music videos, he spends time in the studio recording music he’s written himself. A week ago Tyrell released a teaser of his first single on his boyfriend’s website Homorazzi.com where he is also a writer. Listen to the one minute teaser below.
Our favorite photo of Tyrell is above. Surely you can see why.
Does he look familiar? He should. He’s been a Hellcat from the very beginning. Don’t worry if you don’t recognize him though. He’s been cheering with the Hellcats since the pilot but we’ve only been able to spot him out twice throughout the whole season.
Before Hellcats even premiered on September 8th, 2010, he was the one to follow on Twitter (@TLWither) as he often Tweeted behind the scenes photos, some of which you can see here on his official website TyrellWitherspoon.com.
His first single just dropped on iTunes which you can purchase here
